Privacy Policy

Last updated: 13.09.2026

GLOBAL ALPLAST D.O.O.E.L. (“Global Alplast”, “we”, “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy and to handling your personal information in a way that is transparent, fair and compliant with applicable data protection law, including the Law on Personal Data Protection of the Republic of North Macedonia and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This policy applies to every visitor to this website, wherever you are located.

Who we are

The controller of your personal data is GLOBAL ALPLAST D.O.O.E.L., Ul. Bosna i Hercegovina br. 1, 1010 Skopje, North Macedonia. You can reach us at info@globalalplast.mk.

Information we collect

We collect personal information that you give us voluntarily, such as when you complete the partner enquiry form on this website. That form collects your first name, last name, work email address, phone number, company website, country, business type, the number of window and door units you sell or install per year, and a short description of your business.

We also use Facebook Pixel, a tracking tool provided by Meta, to collect certain non-personal information about your visit, such as your IP address, device type, browser type and the pages you view. IP addresses may count as personal data under some data protection laws where they can be linked to an individual.

How we use your information

We use the information from the form to respond to your enquiry, to assess whether a partnership is a fit, to arrange a meeting, and to keep you informed about the status of your enquiry. We use the data collected through Facebook Pixel to understand how this website is used and to improve it. Meta may also use that data to show you advertisements on its platforms based on your browsing behaviour.

Sharing your information

We may share your personal information with trusted third parties who help us operate this website and run our business, such as our hosting provider, our email provider and our customer relationship management system. These parties are contractually obliged to protect your information and may not use it for any other purpose. Facebook Pixel shares certain data with Meta; see Meta’s own privacy policy for how they handle it. We never sell your personal information.

Cookies and tracking technologies

This website uses cookies and similar technologies. Essential cookies are necessary for the site to work and cannot be switched off. Non-essential cookies include performance and advertising cookies; Facebook Pixel sets non-essential cookies for tracking and advertising.

This website does not currently show a cookie preference banner. You can control cookies through your browser settings: most browsers let you block cookies, delete them, or ask to be notified before one is set. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of this website from working.

Your rights

Under applicable data protection law you have the right to access your personal information, to correct inaccuracies in it, to request its deletion, to object to its processing, to restrict its processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@globalalplast.mk. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Agency of the Republic of North Macedonia (azlp.mk), or with your own local data protection authority if you are in the European Union.

Legal basis for processing

We process the information you submit through the form on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry and in taking steps towards a possible commercial agreement. We process data collected through Facebook Pixel on the basis of our legitimate interest in understanding and improving this website, and, where that data is used for advertising, on the basis of your consent.

Withdrawing consent

Where you have consented to non-essential cookies, you can withdraw that consent at any time through your browser settings, or by contacting us at info@globalalplast.mk.

Data retention

We keep your personal information for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for, or for as long as the law requires. If you ask us to delete your information, we will do so unless we are legally obliged to keep it.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration and destruction, including secure servers, encryption where appropriate, and access controls. No transmission over the internet and no storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International data transfers

Your personal information may be transferred to and from countries outside the European Economic Area, including the United States, where third parties such as Meta are located. Where we transfer data outside the EEA we put appropriate safeguards in place, such as standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. Any change is posted on this page, with the date of the last update shown at the top.
